-cabbage, greens, and leek soup
-pesto pasta (using PICA-made pesto from storage)
-greens stir fry
-gallo pinto with CORNBREAD
-quinoa (or cous cous) with vegetables
-homemade pizza (everyone does their own toppings)
-stewed lentils or garbanzo beans (using greens from garden)
-baked root veggies (i.e. beets, carrots, potatoes, onions) w/rosemary
-deer stew (ask Ali for recipe)
-squirrel squab (they'll be repopulating soon!)
-raccoon casserole ...okay, now that'd be just weird...
-enchiladas
-any other types of soup...
Hey, maybe at some point we'll be making our own hot sauces to go along with our meals!! After all, winter's that time of season when warming foods become really important. And chiles grow quite well in the PICA Garden and up at College Eight during summer months... :D
